Exploring How Society Works

Take Me To Your Soul Leader

Posted by: Spencer Stern on: July 26, 2007

I have a friend I’ve known since high school who has always had a relaxed and slightly feminine demeanour. He usually appears calm and unruffled by new interpersonal situations. He has always looked out for my interests though not necessarily a close friend per se.

Through years of interaction and observation I decided that he is a representative of an Intuitive-Ethical Introvert type, otherwise known as a peaceful Romantic.

Him and I form a ‘relation of benefaction’ where I inevitably end up with ‘the short end of the stick’ in my role as ‘beneficiary’ to him as ‘benefactor’.

As two introverted types we already share a similar wavelength. As my benefactor he takes on a higher role in the social hierarchy relative to me. As the ‘beneficiary’ I usually offer advice to my ‘benefactor’ friend which is the usual phenomenon that occurs between us.

Its like I can sense something he lacks in his subconscious that needs boosting by my strong Introverted Logic (Ti).

Anyway, advice offering aside we usually come together when we have something to offer each other like a trip to the cinema or another social event of shared interest. As an energy-based relation we are attracted to each other from time to time.

In conclusion, an IEI type to me comes across as quite placid and calm usually trying to entertain me somehow which can get mildly irritating if done in a pushy way.
